What resolution should my artwork be?

All artwork must be a minimum of 300 dpi (CMYK). Accepted file types are PDF, PSD, TIF, JPG and PNG.

Do I need to cut out the centre hole on CD artwork?

No, please do not cut out the inner hole — our software will mask the unprintable areas automatically.

What bleed area do I need to allow?

For discs, allow a bleed area of 2mm from the outer edge and 4mm from the centre hole, with text kept at least 2mm from the outer edge and 4mm from the centre hole. For inserts and wraps, allow an additional 2mm bleed on each edge beyond the finished size.

CD Artwork

CD Artwork total image size: 118mm x 22mm centre hole. For CD Artwork, please do not cut out the inner hole since our software will mask the unprintable areas automatically. Bleed area should be 2mm from outer edge, 4mm from centre hole. Text must be at least 2mm away from the outer edge and at least 4mm from the centre hole.

2 Page Front Insert (Double Sided)

Overall finished size 121mm (w) x 121mm (h). Please allow an additional 2mm for the bleed area on each edge. The overall size of your image should be 125mm (w) x 125mm (h).

Trayliner (Rear Insert for Jewel Cases)

Finished size 151mm (w) x 118mm (h), spine element 6mm (w) x 118mm (h). Please use an appropriate size font for the spine writing (no more than 8 point). Please also allow an additional 2mm bleed area on each edge. The overall size of your image should be 155mm (w) x 122mm (h).

DVD Artwork

Finished size 273mm (w) x 183mm (h), the spine is 14mm. Please allow an additional 2mm bleed for the bleed area on each edge. The overall size of your image should be 277mm (w) x 187mm (h).

DVD Wraps — Slimline DVD Cases

Finished size 266mm (w) x 183mm (h). The spine is 7mm. Please allow an additional 2mm bleed for the bleed area on each edge. The overall size of your image should be 270mm (w) x 187mm (h).
